Met Tubedude this morning at the north marina. Weather was great, water was calm , and no power squadron. Bugs wasn't very bad. Took a minute but we found the fish. Pat caught his usual bunches and I got 4 all on a red eye floating white flig.
good day for sure.

[#0000FF]Glad we could get in a trip before the weather comes in this week.
Only downer of the day was when I went to fillet my fish the fish cleaning station was down (again). The guys were working on it and had no idea when it would be ready so I zipped down to the south marina on the way home and saved myself a mess at home.

Glad you was able to get them cleaned up good. Just as I was leaving it looked like there was someone cleaning fish at the cleaning station. While I was loading up talked to a boater that had 5 wipers he caught on shad raps out by the west dike. Nice

[#0000FF]He may have known where and how to catch wipers but he didn't know how to use the grinder. He put all his fish parts in before turning it on and jammed it up. That's the mess the maintenance guys were cleaning up as I showed up to clean my fish.

Dang PA, I'd planned to meet up with you guys this morning, but had a last minute commitment and couldn't make it. Looks like I missed a good one.

Not to worry. We lots of time left. Plan on several more Willard trips before it turns to ice.
