Hello all.
Just want to give everyone heads up on Logan River status.
Was at the second dam area on 9/18, had a great run with 3 browns at 2 pounds each from 7.00 to 7.30 am.
Came back next day - not a hit. Looking forward to Hyrum and Mantua in October.

Well, I appreciate everyone's welcome.
I was actually surprised about that spot too. I had no luck there last year, gave up on it, had a great run on Hyrum and Mantua instead. Came back this spring and had a blast. Not just the dam , but all over the trails too. Mostly 9-12" rainbows, but now and again you get some gorgeous 2-3lb brown.
Problem is, it's over fished. Therefore trouts have learned.
Today, even it was raining , I went out and got another one at 1.5 lb. This time using a typical spinner spoon. Chances are , I will not catch anything there for few weeks now. It just the way it works.
