Strawberry Mud Creek
#1
Fished Mud Creek today and it was very slow. Caught two fish, 1 bow about 14 inches and 1 cutt about 16 inches.

Colder than a mother-in-laws kiss at the start @ 19 degrees @ 7:30.

I hadn't been to Mud Creek in quite a few years and they have put a open block boat launch in. Looks like they have plans to make it larger because there were still blocks that haven't been put into position yet. It isn't made for larger boats though.

I'm pretty sure they mean the ramp is built up with long narrow concrete blocks laid with space between them, like railroad ties.

Oh! Gotcha. That's pretty nice. The last time I was at Mud Creek it was just a worn out dirt ramp. I don't need much water to launch so I'll have to check it out.
