Well I got out again, love the new Pro XS on my rig, havent been skunked once since putting it on!! I run up from HBSP to a cove on the Harrison side.. I have heard its a good place to go and never tried it until yesterday.. Had 12 though all but 1 were short.. Still a good time.. Lot of baitfish in there.. Caught them on a weightless green senko, white spinner bait and even a whopper plopper.. Missed one on a white bomber, darn fish followed it to the boat.. When I saw the fish I stopped cranking as the lure was just about back to the boat.. the fish just sits there and looks at the lure.. I twitch it several times and the fish actually was nudging it with its nose!! I am like oh come on just hit it but no luck. Saw several 2-3lbs fish swimming just above the grass.. Seems like each time I saw one I had just cast and wasnt able to get a bait on them before they moved off.. Had one about 5 throw my senko back at me..!!! emoBang I am glad I tried that place though.. I know in the next couple of weeks it should just get better.. Water was in the mid to upper 70s.. and quite clear too
