Greetings from Arkansas. Still too hot to really want to go deer hunting. So this morning I went in search of some Arkansas bass. Not a bad day. Found a few schooling. Caught them early on a spook puppy and a bomber TN shad crank. These were relating to the shad schools and when the sun came up the shad went down, so did the bass. Missed or lost as many as I caught in the schools, seemed to be slapping at my bait. Had to shift over to the shakey and boated a few more. emoThumbsup Schoolers were 3 to 15 feet. The shakey bass were deeper from 15 to 25. This lake is very clear. Nothing all that big, best five would go around 14 lbs anchored by my best one at 4 and a quarter. (below) I do miss the Chick frog bite. Is it on yet? I have not seen any frog reports? emoScratch The water temp here is still hot for Oct. It was 78.7 degrees when I came in. Sure can't complain here where I fish. I never started the big motor and every fish I caught I could see my house. emoTongue Blessed! You guys keep the reports coming and tight lines to you all. emoThumbsup Jmax
