The boy left his Toyota Prius for me to watch while he flew out of town. So I said lets take a trip. Can't beat 45 to 60 mpg.
Hit strawberry Ladders at 8am. Very low water flow and lots of dead Kok's. After one hour no bites drove over to chicken creek west and fished from the shore, with 6 other retires, and couple skipping work. Stayed 2 1/2 hours and not one fish taken. Beautiful day, left at 11:30 and still no fish and no wind!
Went down to deer creek and fished from the road side by the island.1 1/2 hours not one bite. Now I know your going to say I need a fishing lesson, well I usually use my boat, fished about 30 years before getting a boat, but couldn't pass up a trip to strawberry for $4.
The boat ramp at deer creek Island is barricaded. Can't use it!
Wow Provo canyon was just beautiful, as was Daniels.
So I had a great day driving around and didn't get bloody hands.
