Joe's Valley 10/24
#1
Made the trick to Joe's Valley once again. got there about 9 ish AM got out on the water and ran the new motor awhile run a lot better but still not where it should be.. oh well hit the Honda 8 and off we went we intended to troll most the day anyway test out some chub patterns i made up last year.. i started out the catching with a nice fat Rainbow on a darker chub pattern.. then a while later i hit another smaller Cutt. when dave got in the act and hit a splake then we went awhile i hit a nice fat cutt big on of the day.. we caught 1 more small cutt and a small splake and that was it on the day... we did see some good sized tiger musky fallow our baits up to the boat that was cool! i guess i need to get the electric motor mounted so we can cast a little.. was fun watching them come right up to the boat tho..

I thought I would add a little info to Ron's report. I was up there on Wednesday and while we were out fishing, an employee of the USFS came to the boat launch and pulled the dock out of the water for the winter. So if you are planning to fish Joe's Valley with a boat be prepared to launch without having the dock in place.

I added another photo of Ron and his friend fishing on this beautiful fall day.
