Scofield - Had the pond to myself!
#1
I fished Scofield today in my kick boat from 9:30 until 3:30. I launched from the west side of the reservoir in the walk-in-access area. I used a medium sinking line with a size 6 bead head black/green/pearl soft hackle and a size 6 bead tan/peacock/pearl crystal bugger. I managed to catch & release a few cutthroats between 11" - 13" and one chub. The chub was mortally wounded in the making of this report.

The water temperature was 37-39 degrees and the visibility in the water of about 3'. The reservoir level is 72% full and rising.

There was a little skim ice in the dam cove and some on the southwest end of the reservoir where Mud Creek comes in. There was no ice in the Madsen Bay area.

It was a nice calm day to be on the water with no competition.[Wink]

Sounds like it won't be long before ice up there. Thanks for the report.
