[#0000FF]Hey Lynn, I am managing to keep from joining AA (Anglers Anonymous) by getting out once in a while. Sorry to hear you are suffering through a self-imposed abstinence program.
Based upon past experience...and my findings yesterday...I'm guessing that most of the fish are out beyond bank tangler range. I neither saw fish on sonar or had any bites in water less than about 5' deep. They sometimes move into protected shallows on warm afternoons when the sun brings the water temps up for a short time. But otherwise they stay low and slow.
It is customarily about the first week of March when I am able to get my tube on open water each year. But I almost always find the kitties ready for action on my first trips. Just gotta search 'em out and serve up something to their liking.
Stay strong and resolute my fishing friend. Maybe you need to get into a 12 cast program.
