Jordanelle 12-9-2017
#1
I trolled Jordanelle on 12-09-2017. We caught 2 browns-18" and 2 Rainbows-16". The browns were caught at 35' and 25' depth on a 3" yellow perch colored flatfish. The speed for that flat fish was 1.0 mph. One of the rainbows was also caught on the flat fish. Another Rainbow was caught on a multi-colored spinner blade with bead worm harness at 20' depth and 1.0 mph tipped with 1/2 night crawler (colors are chartreus green, orange, some yellow and some red) . I trolled a week earlier with similar results (the flat fish caught three times as many fish (both Rainbows and Browns). Only the rainbows will take the worm harness. The most fish we marked were in the Provo arm just East of the no-wake buoys. I have attached a picture of the flatfish. Enjoy!
