Christmas Eve Eve Tiger!
#1
Decided to face the blizzard today and see if something wanted to bite my flies. Couple small brownies eating some egg patterns and chironomids. Threw on a white Butt Monkey and stripped it in slow when I felt a small tug and then the pile of line I had floating around my feet got ripped out of my hand and this guy was on my reel pullin drag before I could lift my rod tip up! He had my 6wt at full flex racing up and down the beaver pond before I finally got him to calm down and get in the net.

Glad I decided to put off ice fishing for today and try to get some super late winter fly action!

No idea how heavy he is I didn’t have a scale on me but he measured 25” so he’s probably 6-7 is guess.

Tight lines my friends!
