Hit the ice with my 6 year old and it was fun and fast fishing. Most were 10-12 in bows the ice was 8+ with 4in of snow. If you take the kids here the sledding is really good as well. Merry Christmas and be safe out there.

I drove up there the other day before the snow and got scared away by all the debris on the ice. Only had a limited amount of time and didn’t want to risk hitting a rock and ruining my auger blades for 1hr of fishing. So I fished the river instead. Looking to get up there a night this week, thanks for the update.
