Welp. I wanted to try it out. Plenty of ice. We were scared to try our normal location, and decided to fish the docks. Ice is almos 5 inches. Looks scary. But it’s safe!! Fishing seemed pretty slow. I had fish marked all day, nothing wanted to bite. Later the morning got the better the fishing got. Perch were either nice and plump or 4 inches.... saw a few people pull up some nice crappie throughout the morning.
