Devils creek derby

Anybody heard about the ice conditions for devils creek derby?

two weeks ago there was open water with some thin ice

A buddy and I were up there yesterday to check on the ice and fish a little. The edges were bad. Needed planks to get on. The ice was a solid 5-6" of good hard ice. It was cold yesterday, last night, today and tonight up there so hopefully the edges harden up. It was snowing and windy all day and the fishing was very slow. We only caught 3 fish between 9am-2:30pm. We didn't move around allot due to the weather conditions though. The guy putting on the derby was up there and they are still planning on going forward with it.

I was up there fishing with you with the weather above 40 all day should make for some challenges getting on that place.
