I was looking to go ice fishing at cemetery point tomorrow, but it is warm today where I live. Any reports on how thick the ice is today? [fishon]

I’m heading up about 4:30 today for a night fish. I’ll try and get a report back to you when I get up there. Wish me luck[

Does yesterday help, I fished PV yesterday and getting on the ice in the morning was ok. We fished until 4:30pm and when leaving the edges were getting soft due to the rising water level. After today is over I would imagine you might need a plank depending on where your access point will be or at least some tall rubber boots. The ice was still 6.5-7 inches off browning point.

Today's ice at 7" - measured. Finally got a bucketful today, fishing from 8:30-1pm.
10 jukbos, 25 cleanables and 19 deplorables. Best bite seemed to be 10-noon. Spittin' up 2" crappies like m&m's. 30' the depth. Some small puddles here & there, but no Slush Monster. Sun-facing shoreline getting a tad mushy when leaving. Cleats a must. Drop-shot waxies or eyeball or perch slivers so you can quickly get back down to the school. Be ready to move when you realize they moved. [signature]

Definitely still safe. Looks sketchy until you get out there. We were off browning point and found 5 1/2” if clear and 1 1/2” of cloudy crap ice. Edges starting to get wet but manageable without planks. Fishing tonight was slow. Did manage to somehow get some of “Dr. Juices secret crappie scent “ in my mouth again [
