Well hattrk and I attempted to do some damage on the derby, but we fell a little short of our goal. The only thing that we ended up catching was Dodge Dually. This guy got stuck just behind our fishhouse in a drift that was about 21/2 foot deep. I'm just wondering does that count for any point's Dave?[crazy] Well any ways we didn't catch anything worth writing home to mom about.. Hopefully we'll do much better the next outing.
It's not the size of the lure, but the size of the bait you stick in the hole!! [shocked]

Ya, that 1ton Dodge was about 20' long. It put up a good fight but my 1/2 ton Ford fishing rod put it to shame. The pics should be developed soon.
How do you clean a Dodge any way? I think they are like a Carp, a trash fish/truck.[sly] I shoulda just threw it back.[ ]

Haha! So Flagman drives a carp (it's actually a Dodge that they give away at the Carp fishing contest at Coon Rapids Dam... they call it a Carp-mobile). And sounds to me like hattrk drives a dogfish. Me, I drive a Chevy-wannabe. It goes and goes and goes. Never breaks down. Never has gotten stuck. Stick with Chevy guys and maybe you'll catch something at them contests.
The reason I didn't catch anything at the one I went to a few weeks ago? I didn't drive on the ice. If I woulda, the fish would have flocked to my hook.
LOL. You can make fun of me in a month when you see my little vehicle.

Great question! Not yet. It's got a little 4-banger for now. But wait until I rebuild the front end. Watch out! ROFL.

I've only had a few cars in my lifetime. The worst was a Subaru Justy. 2nd to it was the Chevy pickup my brother gave me. Hehe. I know why he gave it to me now. When it rained outside, it rained inside also. Best one I've owned was the Datsun 710 (now the Nissan Maxima) and 2nd best was the Toyota Corolla.
Can't wait to upgrade to something with 6 cylinders. I'm contemplating a Jeep Cherokee but I'm a Chevy man. I'm opting for a Blazer with a 4.3 liter V6.

Did you know that Jeep and Dodge are subsidiaries of the same company? Chrysler. Sorry, won't go with either if they'll nickel and dime me to death.
My generic chevy got me through 1 1/2 to 2 feet of snow on the ice today. I was driving where none other dared drive. Haha!

I had no problems with the Corolla until just before I moved to Minnesnowta. Kinda wish I woulda drove it up here instead of flying and letting my parents sell it. Anyway, only problem I had with it was the gas pedal started sticking in the down position.

Haha. I remember one time I had just started pumping gas when the price changed like 5 seconds later. I got lucky and got it at the lower price because I beat them to it!
What we need is more vehicles that run on Ethanol... a renueable source of fuel. Comes from corn. Forget drilling oil wells, grow our fuel above ground and plant more when we're done.

Lucky you! I saw a couple locations that had dropped back down to $1.659 just today after jumping up to $1.759 yesterday. Nice of them to do that.
I still think that rather than our politicians pushing for more oil fields that they should instead push for cleaner alternative fuels such as the ethanol. A lot of new cars can run on both gasoline and ethanol off the lot from what I understand. And last summer when the price of gas spiked, ethanol was the least expensive fuel in the area.
