Panguitch Lake Reports?

Taking a small group of scouts up to Panguitch Lake this weekend for some ice fishing.

Has anyone been there recently and any reports on how the ice is looking? I read of the DWR reports that only parts of the lake are frozen, wondering how it is doing this week with the warmer weather.

Lot's of wind today -- I wouldn't plan an ice fishing trip....

Thanks for your advice. We still went and camped but didn't end up getting on the ice. Looked like there were a few people ice fishing. It lots of open water as u stated. Hopefully will be more frozen soon.

Roads were a bit crazy coming home today and snow was falling hard.
