Ladders Ice?

Does anyone know the ice conditions around the ladders and from there south to Sage Creek? Thinking of trying there Saturday

Did the drive-by on Sunday and the wind was blowing HARD - the lake in frozen over and with temps staying a little cold this week ice should be good - there were a couple diehard's out from the ladders but the majority of the crowd had packed up due to the weather conditions. On the other hand about 13 groups were still out at Chicken Creek East mainly due to the access road being passable and trucks being able to drive to the lakes edge - don't know if that will be possible with this Thursday storm int he forecast.

Does anyone have any current ice thickness reports for the area? I'm wanting to take the snowmobile south from the ladders.

We went Saturday 1/27 and parked at the view area south of the ladders. We rode the sled to sage creek bay and fished anywhere from 10' fow to 40' fow with consistently slow fishing. Ice was a solid 11" everywhere we drilled. The weather was awesome and made for a great day on the ice.
