Scofield boat ramp?

I’m thinking of taking my four year old son ice fishing for his first time, just wondering how the ramp in the dam arm is for access and if there has been fish biting?

Some fishing buddies and I were there Sunday. About 6 inches of snow on the ice but no slush. Ice was 11-12 inches thick where we fished,
We parked down at the ramp but unless you have 4W drive I would not attempt to drive down there. There is access on the south side that would be better.
Fish came through in schools so about every 20 minutes we would catch 3 to 4. Nothing with any size (12-14 inches).
