How is the ice ? Safe? Crappie invite

Headed to pineview tomorrow evening for a night crappie fish off Browning point unless the ice is unsafe taking my cousin who just had a knee surgery 2 weeks ago and he's been getting a little cabin fever. Everyone is welcome to come fish with us plenty of room and give us a chance to put a face to the name .. we will be hitting the parking spot around 4 hope to see you there

Was there yesterday, Wed., from 1:00 to dark, but on the south side of cemetery point.

Accessed the ice without a plank, and ice was solid 8 plus inches after getting on a few feet. I could tell the ice was a little softer than its been when cutting through with the auger. Was actually surprised with the warm temps.

Thanks for the info, might head out Sunday morning, hope the ice is still safe with a high of 57 today, WOW, what month is it again? I hate this warn weather, watch it will be freezing in March and April, which would be fine with me as long as I can get on that hard deck. [cool]
