Slab slayin
#1
Me n a buddy managed to pull a few slabs from PV today. Fishing was slow most the day but when they come in to feed the fishing was fast and furious for 10-20 minutes at a time. Then they leave and the bites over till they decide to come back. We arrived at 7am were fishing by 7:45. Crappie came through about 9am, 11am and again at about 1pm. Then they shut off completely for the rest of the day. I left at 4:45pm. We also pulled in a few bonus perch as well. The biggest perch was 11". The 4 biggest slabs were 11 3/4". Most fish were caught at depths between 42-45" the picture only shows the fish I caught.
