On 02/08 i went for about four hours. I used a brown 3 inch 1/8 oz tube. Bouncing it off the bottom with a slow retrieve i was able too hook two nice rainbows. Both On the trailer hook that i added.

Sounds like you had a fun time. I've never thought of adding trailer hook like you had, did the treble sit within the tube's skirt or farther out than that?

I hooked it to the eyelet of the jig heads then put the tube on the jig head. The trailer was just at the back but hidden by the jig.
