Sounds like a rough day Chris. I wonder if anyone has looked in the water with an aquaveiw to verify the fish. Sometimes bubbles can show up as fish on a finder.

I got the same report . Ditto on the catching . If you need some punishment go to Pineview . It will humble you . Some guys come all the way from Wyoming to fish Pineview and I refered them to this site . I don't think they caught any but said they had some lite hits earlier . I seen echoes (marks) on the finder that went up and then down so I think they were fish but just not that hunger today . Maybe it was real small fish .

Just speculation but I think the Musky have been doing some serious chomping on the smaller fish in the lake. With the water so low there has not been much cover all year and it makes it easy feeding for the big Musky. It will be interesting to see how the Musky look at ice off.

I've known them fishies were goin way down hill since I first started fishin there, some 10 odd years ago. Them muskies are gonna be in some sorry shape. If they'd just start eating carp and catfish they'd be allright, though. One of us with an aquaview ought to go up there and see what they could see. I'd like to just see some perch.
