I bought an Intex Excursion 5 about 2 years ago with the intent of modifying it for fishing and cruising. With a new critter to feed it was put on hold for a minute. Now he's older and I can get back to it.
I have to do the floor in 3 pieces so it can fit into my trunk. I'm concerned the joints will be unstable and be a tripping hazard. I have thought of running pvc in the ribs of the existing floor to re enforce the joints. I'm open for other ideas if anyone has one or two.
