Catch and Cook Smoked Trout

Ice fished on Lake Wazee, WI, an old iron mine that gets 350' deep, to catch a few trout, ended up keeping one to smoke. Total I caught two brown trout and one Rainbow, but ended up keeping the rainbow trout to smoke. It was delicious!

Here I show the process how I smoked them, very simple and ended up with some great tasting smoked fillets!

That's a really good catch! What marinade did you use? For how many hours?

I just used a random mixture of stuff I came up with! Brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and a few other things. I think I smoked it for around four hours. It was great!
