Berry slow 2/17

Pretty slow day at Strawberry on Saturday. Fished from 7:30 - 2:00 and tried a lot of different depths. I would catch one shortly after moving and then wouldn't even see any other fish. Ended up landing 6 between 17-21". Rangers were cruising around checking licenses and they said there weren't many people catching fish. Plenty of ice with a few inches of snow on top near the marina.

Had a good group of guys there also on Sat., and our results weren't so hot either....all sorts of lures, bait, and depth combos tried, mostly just lookers....one near 21", couple around 18, the rest 12 to 14"ers, total about a dozen landed - but we had 12 in our group, for about 5 or 6 hours, and lots of holes and searching...maybe another day....
