Drive by Lincoln beach

I went be Lincoln beach hoping to find the thinnest sheet of ice if any so that when March rolls around the catfish hunt will be on. What I found was a harbor full of ice that looked at least an inch maybe 2 thick. The ice was on the north side of the dike towards the hot spring but it was pretty scarce over there. Towards the end of the north dike it was ice free. But unless a miracle happens or it warms up faster than I think it will I may not get my boat in Friday as I was hoping to.

If the weather is good come the weekend, I would not be surprised if someone breaks up the ice to get out.
