Inflatable boat registration?
#1
I decided to buy a 12v trolling motor for my inflatable raft. It is my understanding that I must register the boat if I add any motor.
Does anyone know for sure if this is true?

Yes. Unless it is muscle-powered, it has to be registered.

Thanks Rocky. That's what I thought. I'm getting too old for anything but horse power lately. Maybe just too lazy. I think more of the second[sly]

Yes, electric, gas, or nuclear powered has to be registered.

once you register it I think you also need to display the hull numbers and state stickers? when I had an inflatable they made me put the hull numbers on a piece of plexi glass and hang it over the side so its visible, dont know if thats still the case?

I thought about a nuke, but have you seen the price? I could only afford a couple hours or so of pqwer instead of years.

Well worth the investment SLC. You like the way tungsten jigs perform? Wait till you try depleted uranium! [Wink]

Had it in my coffee this morning. Why do you think I'm still up at 2:30 am. Ok, it's actually spring fever, and that's no (is there an emoji for fish poo?)

I was born in the Late Holocene Epoch, and I still power my kayak around by muscles alone. Pedaling a Hobie is as easy as walking. It's just the loading and unloading that's a bit of a tester.

I've owned a float tube, a pontoon, and now a kayak. The kayak is by far the easiest to propel.
