Put in at lupton city, fished from there all the way down to Baylor. Current was rolling and we caught most fish on the main river on rock banks on the NED rig. A few large mouth were caught in backwater sloughs. We did catch a few fish on a shakey craw as well. Drum were biting well as usual and even had a few smallmouth in the mix. Seemed like the most bites came on the inside turn at the bend. First time fishing with the NED rig, it was apparent after today that it will be very productive fishing the river with this technique in the future. Water had cooled off to 52* and was surprisingly clear.
