Visited Jordanelle for the first time this morning. Bite was on! Fished jerk baits and caught some great fish. Cutts and browns. As the morning progressed, decided to troll a few different things. Kept things around 13-18ft and did well. I kept marking fish in 40ft of water, decided to send down a dropshot to see if they would bite, and pulled up two slab crappies! I cant find anything saying crappie are supposed to be in there. Has anyone heard about a crappie population in Jordanelle?

I have not heard that but with the amount of stick ups in there at least they have familiar habitat.

That's good news, jordanelle has just about every fish that swims in Utah. Would not be surprised to hear Tigers too. That is a good place for drop shot fishing for Small Mouth's too. I have never used drop shoot in open water.
