Went out to my new secret lasy night trying to round up some cats, I started out the night in a spot was there an hour, decided to try another. As I was headed up river some reason I stopped and anchored up. 15 min had past my pole started getting some attention, boom hook a monster can't get it in running like a chicken without a head! Threw the hook and I was back to 0 Again, I had another to the boat couldn't get it into the net, (GOING TO BUY A LARGER NET TODAY), the bite was hot for 2 hours then slowed down I caught this baby, compared to the others I hooked!

Nice fish and crazy story... So I haven't seen it entered yet and I know you're in the contest.... Better get it in... hope you had a label in another picture, but looks good for 30" to me.... If no label, we have been granting a few oops freebees... May call for a vote on this one since it's the number two fish in the contest so far, but I hope you can get it in there... You are signed up no problem... So now go to state fishing forums above on dark blue line and click on that tab... Then select Utah, then go down through the different selections until you see Utah fishing contests or something like that... Choose that and it will bring up a bunch of posts... Up top is the rules and a label you can print out and put your name on... That goes in pictures to prove you caught it for this contest this year... Look at the posts that others have put up and do a post for your fish like the others have done... sorry I don't do a great job of explaining this to new contest participants... Sorry if you don't know please ask and I'll try and help what I can... Thanks Jeff

What say ye? Are you good to count this one if he gets it entered? I'm thinking for a new contestant we need to cut a little slack on the label rule and I'm seeing 30"... You and all other south team members okay with this? Well!... I say there needs to be some kind of penalty assessed... how about we admit the fish but as a penalty it must be posted to the south team score?? seems only fair to me.[  ]
Seriously, I don’t think you will find anyone who will cry out in anger... he was signed up, first time, not familiar with how to post an entry... let’s not get too serious about a for fun contest. Now if we had a $30,000 bass boat for first prize we might have a problem. Be consistent, be fair and we are all good.

I'm not an old regular, but as a south team member I say let the man have his due. What I like about this contest is that it's all for fun and everyone is so laid back.
