Northern Flaming Gorge Kokanee?
#1
Has anyone had much success catching kokanee up by or north of the confluence? I was surprised to catch one through the ice there this winter. Do they stick around this area at all in the spring or summer?

Awesome! Wish i was up there! I have fished late in the season just below buckboard but never above. I need to give that area a try one of these times. I only go above the confluence for burbot.[fishon]
Do you go as gar north as the confluence?
[#800000]No. Only ever fished between BB & the confluence. Two years ago in the last week in May we fished it twice and caught 1 laker between 4 of us over the two trips. But this year, they are there in great numbers.[/#800000]
