Can you access the knolls or is it still closed

[#0000FF]Access is open to the public...but with restrictions. Chris Crockett of DWR assures me that they have reached an agreement with the land owners for ongoing access. However, it has been hard to get all involved together for a formal signing.[/#0000FF]

[#0000FF]There has been a lot of new gravel put on the road in at mile marker 19 and a designated parking area along the lakeshore. There are still closed areas so obey the signs. Don't leave trash and pick up and remove any left by trashers before you.[/#0000FF]

[#0000FF]The water level is up for good wading or launching tubes, toons, yaks or small boats. But there are posted restrictions on leaving the designated road or parking area. You cannot drive onto exposed lakebed below the high water line to launch a craft.
