Minersville
#1
Minersville is fishing good right now. It looks like the fish have started to spread out a little. They aren't as concentrated along the shorelines as they were a week or so ago.

We've been getting two different size groups: 16" and 18-20". The fish are fiesty! They are in great shape. Those 16" fish are acrobats!

Lots of fun. Hit it while we still have water...

Shhhh! We need to keep this a secret for the Southern crowd.
J.K. most of the fish will probably be lost in August from low water.

Been good almost a month. Whole lake coming up just at dusky dark on fairly calm evenings. There are still a lot of big fish in the lake and last years 12” stockers are now 16”ers that are chunky sky rockets, blasting off 3 and 4 times when hooked.

Cross your fingers but I think it should make it through the summer with out too much damage.

Every year when I see the fly guys kill big fish by the truck lode in that little cove down by the dam in late summer. I always think that’s it, it’s done for. Then come spring I see just how many fish are in the lake when the whole lake comes up late for a midge hatch just before dark. And I am pleasantly suprized.

Actually been a pretty good long run for Minersville.

I know that guy.

It's great to see him still out harassing some fish.

Thanks for sharing, Brett.

Nice video. Just basic fishing with good results. 90% of fishing is knowing when and where to show up in my estimation.

Dad was out there again yesterday. The cloud cover produced some beneficial results:

What is the matter with him? Retired guys are not supposed to be fishing on Holiday weekends.[Wink]

BTW, Nice looking wipers.

Thanks for sharing.

Sweet!

Me and the wife did really well on the wipers just before dark and into the night. Then early in the morning before the sun hit the water. Then they just seem to turn off. We will have to hit the lake on a cloudy day looks like.

Thanks for the report.
