Caught quite a bit of small kokes and trout, no grayling though. Launching/loading wasn't too bad, but did scrape the keel a bit beaching for bathroom breaks. I would say we didn't go 15 minutes without a fish on the entire afternoon and had a few doubles. Next time I will go up with my smaller boat and keep more fish.

Sounds like you had a fun day. Smith and Morehouse is a beautiful Reservoir.

May I inquire as to how small those kokes were. Planning a trip that way this summer with the family and curious how big they've grown.

Biggest was about 11 inches, he was starting to get the crooked jaw so must be one they planted 3 years ago. Smallest was about 8 inches. Easy to catch but just no size, great for keeping kids into it.
