sure is a lot of world records being broken , or attempting to be broken this start of the new year .

any of you bft members come close to setting a recognised record for your state ?

it sure would be nice to see some of you break or come close to your state record fish . how about giving it a go this year ? maybe we could become or start the bft master anglers club .

wadda' think guys ?

Hey there lonehunter,

Yea...... I tried but they sent back my application as being 'REJECTED'!

Seems like that they don't consider starfish to be fish! Oh well, I tried for my one minute of fame.

To print out the application and instructions for submitting a record freshwater catch Click on: Califorina Freshwater Record Verification Info

For an ocean species:(Requires Acrobat Reader) Ocean Record Verification Form

Go for it!

I'm going for that Big Boy at Castaic this year. There is one that is very close to 22lbs and another that was estimated at around 30lb. If I get him, then I can retire and work as a permanent volunteer for BFT.[cool]
