Fished Priest Lake for two days last week. The first day, Kali and I fished the twin islands on the north part of the lake, and could only buy one small mackinaw. The next day, my little grandson wanted to go fish, so we took him just a little ways from the Hill's Resort docks. Same depth, same gear, and we hammered 'em! A fish hitting the gear every 5 minutes or so. How often do we go over the best fishing hole just past the ramp on our way to slow fishing!! Priest Lake was beautiful, as always. It reminds me of Payette Lake 50 years ago. Mike
