I launched my tube at 730 ish, water temp 69 and a bit murky. Found fish on the finder between 17 to 20 ft that didnt want anything to do with my presentations. Moved shallow and worked just outside the weedline in about 8 ft of water. Scored a couple of small perch and a 23 inch eye. I have never caught a walleye that shallow except during the spawn. The perch came on a jighead tipped with a worm. The eye came on a 3 inch gulp minnow. Sure is fun catching a nice eye from a float tube.

thanks for reporting. Last year I did good this time of the year too. Same way, some on jig and worm, some on jig and swim bait.
Were there lots of crazy boaters?

I thought Charleston arm was no wake?
Great eye OP! Today was CRAZY slow. Snagged a ton of perch, though.[reply][/reply]

Every time I have been there, there were plenty of people skiing and wakeboarding in the Charlston arm.
