The Gorge and Kokanee

Just got back from a great trip to Flaming Gorge.
Took the boat and fished the reservoir on three different days.
We were on the Utah side and put in at Cedar Springs Marina.

The Kokanee fishing was great.
We found them deeper than usual for me.
45' to 60' was the range.

Dodgers and Squids worked well as did small trolling spinner harnesses.
Color wasn't much of a factor.

Fun trip with our son, daughter and grandkids.

How big are they over there?

They are much smaller than the Wyo side. We caught a bunch few weeks ago, and the biggest was probably 1.5 lbs.

Our Kokes were much larger than last year.
Many were close to 3 lbs on this trip.

We had good success starting close to the Dam and all the way up to Jarvie.
