Soldier creek today

We were up at the Soldier Creek side today. Struggled finding the Kokes today. Only managed 1 likely missed about 4 ( I’m guessing by the location and depth they were Kokes ) . Had all the action we wanted from slot cuts and planter bows. Fished the channel heading towards the narrows area, back and forth. Using prism dodger and pink squid with spinner blades.

Not really sure why the catching is slower on the SC side but I've heard that before. It seems to me that it picks up around the middle to end of Aug just before the spawn but most of those fish that are spawning this year, will be red by then. Good thing the bows and cutts came out to play.[]
