Got a late start Monday morning and put in at Suck Creek around 10:00. Slow start on my normal "go to" spots so started flipping deep water docks with a T-rigged worm. That seemed to be the ticket and caught a few keepers - biggest 2.3 lbs. Even though it was mid-day, I finally found some grass and got a couple of blow-ups on a frog but no love.
Eight keeper fish total. Biggest Spot was about 1.5 lbs. on a spinner bait. What surprised me most was that most of the fish caught were shallow 2 -7 feet of water. Several slicks on the spinner bait just outside grass lines.
I've fished Chickamauga the last three weeks and struggled with finding fish during the heat of the day, and then only in deep water. This was a nice change.

Jim
