How is the evening bite at the Berry? Worth the trip?

I’ve fished the Berry 3 times this year and our boat has caught 30+ each time, vertical jigging for trout. But we’ve caught all our fish between 6am-11am and then we head home.

Because of my scheduled, I’m thinking of going for a late afternoon trip and hoping to get on the water by 6pm. Is the fishing in the evening similar to the action I typically find early morning?

Yeah you will be fine. Last Friday I launched at 8, koked out and was sitting at the camp fire at 930.
