Fishing before the hurricane

Last year I fished the swamp when a hurricane was 200 miles off the coast. I was pumped to do it again this year as this storm was heading our way. Grabbed T Dog and off we went.Last year it was the best day of the whole year. NOT ONE BITE.[crazy] Tried all my spots and changed out baits but nothing doing. After 3 1/2 hrs I gave up. Temps are now getting into the low 80's so I hope it picks up in a few weeks. Hope the stream run off doesn't affect the Roanoke. We will see.

Well that's to bad, maybe the barometric pressure was higher this year, compared to last year[:/].

Could have been, I need to get a barometer so I can keep track of this stuff, Must be an app fot it some where, LOL I'll try again mid week as the river isn't going to get much higher. Still below flood level. thank God.

I bet you can find an app for that but you can buy them pretty cheap too, just like a temp gage. Some of your local weather channels will show it too.
