Ready for Catfish Contest to end!

Fished around the Powell Slough today and caught lots of nice Kitties. Three over 30”. Damm shame I couldn’t enjoy catching nice fish. But this contest is wearing me out! So close but so far away. O well it will soon be time to relax. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll get some bump ups.

Good luck Ice. Northern waters still dead. been coming home skunked all week. I'm thinking of heading up to Cutler today. At least get some bait minnows if nothing else.
Will be nice just to give the catfishing a break, maybe grab the old fly rod and hit Logan canyon.All though it sure has been a great year for the cats.[fishin] [signature]
