Willard Skunk
#1
Well all good things have to come to an end. Spent a couple hours at Willard in my boat this afternoon and got my first Willard skunk since May 17. Guess I should have taken my tube.

What did you throw at them? I may rethink going up tomorrow.

[#0000FF]Okay, let's examine the basics? Where did you fish? How deep? Did you use a hook?[/#0000FF]

[#0000FF]Bummer. Willard can be a fickle lady.[/#0000FF]

[#0000FF]I will probably avoid her until early November. My logs show that November is usually good for ABC pursuits (anything but catfish).[/#0000FF]

[#0000FF]Pineview and Deer Creek are on my next targets list.

Fished around the north marina, off eagle beach. 6 FOW to 15 FOW. Wind drifted fligs tipped with perch behind the boat. Best thing about Willard right now, you won't have much company.

Will be making my last trip tomorrow to Willard, mainly just to check everything out before I put the Ol'Crestliner away until spring.
