The Berry on Sunday
#1
Fished the berry from 8:30 - 2:00 landing 47 fish. 28 degrees at launch, 60 degrees and beautiful most of the day with little wind till 2 PM. Lost just as many as landed. No dinner as only 1 keeper rainbow in the lot (2 more 8" planters). All the cuts were feisty and fat and fun to play with. trolled Haws to the meadows flat lining a crawler and power bait. Was a great day with an old friend, would just be nice to keep one once in awhile. Talked with many others that did just about the same. Funny how the only fish that bite are 15"-21" and know they will get released.

Sounds like a good day, how fast do you troll when flat lining a crawler and power bait? I don't keep trout often but only catching 15"-21" fish there, is the reason I don't go there, except during the koke season.

The fish were hitting at 1.29 - 1.6.

Wow, I did not know you could troll Power bait that fast, I figured it would come off or were you using one of those Power bait type plastic lures?
