Saturday Nov 3rd, we hiked Crystal Lake TH to Wall Lake, no ice. Trail had a couple of inches of snow. Washington, Cliff also ice free. Trial partial ice. Did not fish, kind of a sin, but I was on a date, fishing is way to serious to muck up with a date with your wife.
Road open, car drivable.

Unless she fishes, then it is a great way to have a fun date!

I would have to agree... Best ice fishing is when I take my wife along. She is the best fishing partner I have had and I have had some good ones. Not to say I don't enjoy going with others, but my preference will always be with her.

Lucky guy, seriously. Difficult to find a good one that will go any fishing, leave alone on the ice.

I agree with fishing with the wife is a great day for me. Only problem is that she prefers ice fishing. Rarely will she go fishing in the boat.
