Any reports on Starvation?

Has anyone fished Starvation recently? Was considering on giving it one more try for walleye.

Not good yesterday! Wind was pretty consistently blowing 10+ early morning till we couldn't take it in my open boat any longer at 1pm. It was pretty cold when the wind was blowing which was most of the time. It got stronger from there as we went to the outlet below the dam and viewed all the trout on their redds. Unfortunately, did not bring a fly rod to tempt all the large visible fish. They were not interested in spinning gear and the moss in that river is overwhelming. Makes me wonder what is coming out of the lake to cause all the moss to accumulate down stream.
The lake is a about half full, water temp was around 47 and the fishing was good but the catching was nonexistent. Saw a couple of other boats out and one that was close to us even netted a dink before they moved to the other end of the lake. The road into the State Park is torn up and there is only one lane just past the bridge for about a hundred yards.
