Made the first ice fishing trip of the season to the berry today. Beautiful sunny day, ice is 5+ inches of clear with 1 or 2 inches of snow on top. Stayed in 40 FOW all day and caught cutts from has high as 11 ft to the bottom at 40 ft. The slot buster was on the bottom and caught on a white tube jig with chub meat. Swam away strong for another day.
