3" of ice on pineview

Fished North of cemetery point. 3" of solid ice. Only fished for one hour at noon only cought small perch.

Thanks for the report. It's gonna blow a COLD wind all night, so should be really ready soon.

Although, is that 3" in the shade of the hill, or 3" in the middle? [Wink] [angelic],

Well we were in the sun. But there were people all over. The South side, Browning point, yacht club. There was even a tent in the narrows when we were leaving, but I think I'd give that a couple days. That's just my opinion.

3" of ice till about 200 yards then its 2' of ice with 3" of water then 3" of ice again I tried to get to deeper water today but just didn't dare to go out any further when I broke through the upper layer. bring water proof boots if you want to get to deeper water.

I started bringing tall boots every time on PV years ago, because the slush gets so bad so fast with any appreciable amount of snow.

It's so cold right now, though, that lake has to be building fast.
